BUDDY BOATING SOUTH part two

The trio heading timing the currents at the rapids.

Zoomed in on Endless Tymes

AIS (auto identification system) shows lots of boat traffic!

ASD (Alaskan-SeaDuction)

We spent 2 nights at Tenedos Bay, rafted, anchored and stern tied.

The motley wasted no time cracking beers and cooling off!

Stern tie at low tide.

Friends, Tom, Chris, Bridget and Kay all smiles!

We took the kayaks and dinks over to Tenedos Bay Provincal Park for a hike.

Mother ships are all the way across the bay tucked in to the right. (Not visible)

My is the red one, Kay has the blue inflatable.
I'm going to be working on Santa for a Hobie with pedels, too.

Roxy got a lift in her dingy... she loves the hikes and can't wait to go for a swim at the lake!
Can you see Roxy finding our trail?

This is called a nurse tree.

We hiked all the way to the lake in the hills. Gorgeous setting, great day with the girls!

Time to head back after a swim. We head for Lund in the morning.

Monday, August 1st (day 125 & 126) Lund

Leaving our rafted stern tie, on the way to Lund, we found a spot to float about to try our hand at bottom fishing.

We three backed in and rafted to our moorage at the marina in Lund.
We are all getting pretty darn good at this!
Views from the dock masters office.

Kay caught both these beautiful red snappers, sometimes referred to as yellow eye.

Chris is sharing some chef fileting skills.

They both did an amazing job and I was happy to take the photos, keeping my hands clean.

No trip ashore is complete without visiting the bakery!

This place was pretty whimsical...

This artist in her gift shop was working on soap stone carvings.

We explored the Port of Lund, browsing the give shops, picking up groceries and supplies.... and some plain ole snooping around. It is very quaint and very busy this time of year.

King Neptune takes center stage at high tide, just before sunset.

Yes, you might say, we pretty much took over our end of "A" dock.
We enjoyed another beautiful sunset on the dock. The trio will be splitting up in the morning :-(
