JANUARY MAINTENANCE

....when it started to snow, it was a serious mess.

getting down the ramp to the boat

Needless to say, our plans for the haul out and bottom paint were rescheduled.

The snow dumped fast and steady.

Shoveled a trench to get around the marina.

The ice kept growing at the marina.

Some friends built this igloo and partied inside.

They only lasted about an hour.

Snow mermaids, not a common sight.

John breaking up the ice daily.

This ice is over an inch thick.

Removed the ice maker for repair during the haul out.

Just about ready to go in the slings at Schooner Creek Boat Yard.

The hoist up, a mere 60,000 pounds!

Traveling on the hard.

You can tell this boat spend some time in the ocean last year:-)

...need to clean this up

and replace the zincs.

Arrived at Tom and Kay's.

Our friends put us up for a couple of days prior to attending the Seattle Boat Show.

Another great meal in Kay's galley.

Heading to the hotel after a full day at the boat show.

 Century Link Field, Seattle

Kay's new car!

Reunion with our broker, Jeff Merrill and the Miss Molly crew at "Boats Afloat".
The next day we headed for Moses Lake. The snow seems to be following us...

Also visited family in Moses Lake, WA during the haul out.

Ready for the launch.

Inspecting the prop and new hull paint.

Celebrating sister Liz's Birthday on the river.

No rest for the weary...updating the maintenance log before we leave.

Road trip back to Vegas through northern Nevada.
