HOLIDAYS IN MEXICO 2020

We spent the ealry weeks of December bouncing around between Bahia Tenactita, back to Barre Navidad to Zihautanejo, Ixtapa (Southern Mexico) in order to resolve our generator problems. Finally on December 25th, we headed back to Zihuatanejo enjoying a great Christmas pot luck dinner on Delta Swizzler. Cindy and Mark are great hosts. We also shared the anchorage with Alamos and other boats. We took the dingy over for dinner where Pairadice joined 4 other boats for the festivities.
We spent alot of time visiting Meg and Dayton on Almos. Enjoyed time with Mike and Tamara on Tenni Ann, also Eddie and Lollie on s/v Sonho in that area. They were all at Xmas dinner.
These are my special friends, Magnus and Porter, the crew of s/v Yachtzee, showing off their new Xmas shirts Santa brought! We had made Xmas cards and brownie snowmen onboard Pairadice on Xmas Eve. Sorry no pictures of that...
We had a full moon on Saturday, December 26th. Spent the day getting ship shape prior to heading out to Acapulco at midnight. Bahia Zihuatanejo to Acapula - 112nm 15hrs. It was nice to be back in a marina.
Arrived Acapulco, MX... December 27th 2020, day 60! We had been "buddy boating" with four other boats, including Alamos and Delta Swizzler. I prepared a bagel lunch aboard Pairadice arriving in Acapulco at 3pm. N16*50'.473 W099*54'.337.
More friends on boats continued to arrive, we got the dink down and started our New Years plans. Several of us took a private tour of Acapulco on Wednesday 12/30. By New Years Eve we were 20 peeps, 7 boats from the Panama Posse; m/v Pairadice, Delta Swizzler, Tennie Anne and s/v Sonja, Yachtzee & Sur. After some boat maintenance, we had a great New Years Eve Potluck!
On Monday, January 1st 2021 we arranged for a van to take all of us to the dive show on the rocks. I was awesome!
We all enjoyed an awesome New Year's Day dinner meal from the beautiful balcony of Circa Casablanca Hotel in Acapulco. This dining event also included a "team meeting" regarding weather reports and travel plans to Bahia Huatulco and Marina Chiapas.
