WEEK IN THE SAN JUAN ISLANDS

25 April 17, Day 11
We have been in Oak Harbor, WA on Whidbey Island for one week. The boat is clean, including the floors, heads, laundry, sheets and possibly too much teak! We toted the wagon to provision for the last time at the Commissary and Navy Exchange before heading to Roche Harbor for the 2017 Selene Rendezvous in Roche Harbor, San Juan Island, WA.

This hangs on the wall near the NEX Salon, where I received last pedi for awhile...

Having John get some exercise!
And if you know him, you know his idea of exercise
is walking to the Harley in the parking lot...hehehe!

Pairadice is getting her fuel topped off.

Nice day cruise to the island under Deception Pass.

...encountered some choppy seas...oh well!

This must be the 2017 Selene Rendezvous

John and Bill enjoying a Thursday afternoon in the sun.

Thursday, April 27th. I attended the BEST emergency
medical and CPR/AED class I've ever experienced!
Presented by 3 San Juan Island EMT's
6 hours and well worth it! Hats off to you guys!

Can never get enough CPR education.

AED review
Form fitting splint, I think I need that in my kit!

Roche Harbor views! Sweet!

Lime Kilns built by the McMillian Family.

The ever popular Corner Market.

I took the hike to the McMillian Mausoleum.

We scheduled to US Coast Guard to inspect our boat...

We received the seal of approval!

My Jambalaya for the Friday's potluck dinner.

Our friends, Darlene and John aboard Ocean Osprey.

The Saturday night banquet concluded the 2017 Selene Rendezvous.
A great time was had by all!
We anchored out in Reid Harbor, Stuart Island for a couple of days... waiting for some friends to catch up with us. Tuesday, May 2nd, day 18, we cruised to Friday Harbor where we met up with Tom and Kay aboard Alaskan Sea-Duction. While in Friday Harbor we ran into Tom and Nita aboard Sygnus Argent, who we met last year at Chatter Box Falls. Since today was my birthday we made dinner reservations at the Downrigger! Loved it!
