BUDDY BOATING - Bottleneck and Khutze Inlets

Wendy and Bill saying good night after dinner on Tom and Kay's boat, Alaskan Sea-Duction.

Another beautiful sunset at anchor.
Alaskan Sea-Duction will slip off from the group in the morning. They are heading for Alaska.

Took the boats out of gear to give the whales some room.

Large pod of orca killer whales on June 14th of Swindle Island.

Sea Badger at the falls off Sarah Island.

 What an incredible day!

After leaving Bottleneck... The destination was Khutze Inlet.
The waters were very calm in here making for a leisure cruise.
John's trying out his rain suit to go crabbing.

There was a group of Nordhavn's traveling on our course on there way to a rendezvous in Alaska.

Another great scenic view and Sea Badger.

Cleaning crab oh, joy!

These are all the halves, waiting to be cooked up.

We are behind Sea Badger. The marina staff brought the fuel to us.

Very beautiful tree at the park by the visitor's center.
This was our view from the deck where we went OUT for lunch! A young bald eagle. Look at that sky!
After lunch, this Camargue Yacht Fisher pulled in behind us.
And of course, It's John's buddy from Trawler Forum.
John's been following his blog for appx 18 months.

The after dinner sunset party was great fun.
We walked the docks taking pictures of natures beauty.

Tom and John calling it quits? The rest of us are off to bed. This is what 11pm looks like up here.

Pulling out of our dock at Port McNeill, leaving Alaskan Sea-Duction behind to get to Alaska.
This post is incomplete due to wifi limitations. So have a second look in a month or so. Captions and the rest of the cool photos should be in by then. Khultze Inlet with all it's crab is yet to come.
